Cost drivers
Two trenches of identical length are priced differently for reasons that have nothing to do with the pipe. Depth, ground conditions and what sits above the alignment carry most of the cost. We quote each job on site rather than publishing a rate that would be wrong for yours.
Standards & compliance
Underground work is buried within days of being installed, so the record of how it was built matters as much as the build. Every job is set out against the approved drawings and closed out with test results and as-constructed detail.
Grades, bedding, materials and testing follow the standard, and the work is carried out under QBCC occupational licence PD21658, held in both the plumber and drainer classes.
Connections, permits and inspections are handled through the relevant authority — Urban Utilities, City of Gold Coast, Redland City Council or Logan Water — depending on where the job sits.
Service plans are pulled and verified on the ground before excavation, and crossings are exposed by hand or non-destructive means.
SWMS, excavation and confined-space controls, traffic management plans and daily records travel with the crew, ready for your site induction.
